I went to the Wizard World Chicago Comic Convention held August 5-7, 2005 in the Rosemont Convention Center. I met another great bunch of celebrities including Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes for the second time as well as George Lowe (the voice of Space Ghost), Mick Foley, Mercedes McNab (kind of), Andy Hallet and comic book illustrator John Cassiday. I borrowed my grandpa's digital camera so I was able to take some higher quality pictures that look mighty shiny. I didn't take a bunch of pictures and I kind of regret it now, but I got pictures of the important things. These pictures will be followed by brief analysis and anecdotes of waiting in line and my interaction with the celebrities.
The first convention I went to was the Wizard World Chicago Comic Convention held August 13-15, 2004 in the Rosemont Convention Center. I met many great celebrities such as Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, Joss Whedon, Amber Benson, Bryan Johnson and Walter Flanagan, among others. I have the first half of my pictures up on this website. The second half of the pictures are developed but I don't have a scanner ant therefore are unable to upload them to the site. They didn't really turn out the best and I took similar pictures that turned out better at Wizard World 2005, so you really aren't missing much, but if you want to see them cover over to my place. The picture quality isn't the greatest because they're from a disposable camera and then scanned. Along with these pictures will be a description of my experience waiting in line and then meeting these great people.
