----------- BRENTY AWARDS -----------

2005 Awards

The 2005 Brenty Awards was another star studded affair held down in Brent's Basement in the early January of 2006. I didn't get to see too many of the movies that came out this year, but I think I saw the best ones for each genre. The big movie of the year was clearly Serenity as seen by the picture on the side of the page, but go to the page to see all of the winners of the year.

2004 Awards

The 2004 Brenty Awards was a star studded affair held down in Brent's Basement in the middle January of 2005. I probably saw about 45 movies in the theater this year, which was about half of 2003, but there were some definite good flicks that I saw. The big movie of the year was Napoleon Dynamite as I was a big fan of the movie since I saw the trailer before Envy in March of the year and saw it opening weekend at Paradise Theater in a room with 3 other people, it's grown to a much higher stature now and won the Brenty Award for movie of the year before it won the MTV Movie of the Year award in June of 2005.

2003 Awards

The 2003 Brenty Awards was the first of many star studded events held down in Brent's Basement, Academy Award weekend in 2004. I saw most of the movies released in the year, around 89 in the theater and probably 100 total released in the year before it was over. This was a very tight race with many great movies released but the movie that impressed me the most was actually Love Actually.
